1. Successful DPA
students are required to participate in a 8-week Polytechnic
Preparatory Programme conducted by the polytechnics between
mid-January 2011 to March 2011. The programme aims to:
a. broaden students’
learning experiences;
b.
orientate them better to the polytechnic environment; and
c. help them build a
stronger foundation in their polytechnic studies.
2. The Polytechnic
Preparatory Programme will include activities such as industry
visits, student camps and leadership development activities.
Students can also take polytechnic modules during the Programme.
More details on the preparatory programme for the different
polytechnics can be found on the polytechnics’ websites.
3. Course fees for the
Polytechnic Preparatory Programme are $150, $200 and $300 per
student for Singapore Citizens, Permanent Residents, and
International Students respectively. Students who need help with the
course fees can apply for financial assistance from the
polytechnics.
